‘Davido and Asa Asika Parted Ways over NGN600K’

Asa Asika confirmed the Split and he had released a statement which didn’t touch on the reason for their split, only saying: ‘Although they have parted ways, it was amicable and they remain friends with a mutual respect for one other.’
Source in the know tell AmehDaily that the Omo Baba Olowo and Asa Asika parted ways over the sum of 600,000 naira. Source tells that they both agreed on Asa eventually taking 20% but with a starting 15% off every revenue from the ‘Davido’ project.
Which Asa never complained about until the last tour he travelled with the star singer. Davido who was fine with giving cash as long as he saw results. ‘True some cash might not have been accounted for in the past,’ Source tells. ‘ It is all good as Davido is known to be generous’ he added.
Some report said the duo split over unaccounted large sum but AmehDaily is told that an argument ensued after 600,000 was taken by Asa, ‘I’m guessing he wanted to start taking the 20% he agreed to’ but it didn’t go down well and ‘things degenerated into a split.’
This was from the tour revenue late last year.
