American music mogul, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been billed to be part of the forthcoming WrestleMania 29
Don’t be alarmed – Diddy isn’t going into the ring as a wrestler but
as one of those scheduled to perform in a 90,000 capacity MetLife
Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA on Sunday April 7, 2013,
according to bleacherreport.com.
Following in the long-standing tradition of mainstream stars of the
music industry performing at the big event, Diddy who has just been
announced as Forbes’ richest hiphop artiste for the third year running
was selected to perform a medley of songs which will also include his
‘I’m coming Home’ single which has been a promotional theme song for the
annual wrestling event.
A rep for the wrestling body says, WWE chooses to do these
performances because the company believes they draw additional attention
from mainstream media and helps distinguish WrestleMania from every
other wrestling events of the year.
