Manchester City finished runners-up to United and earned £58.1m in television revenue, while third-placed Chelsea received £54.9m, less than Arsenal (£57.1m) and Tottenham (£55.8m) because fewer of their games were televised.

QPR received the lowest amount of all 20 Premier League sides as their earning totalled £39.7m.

As from next season, a new three-year broadcasting deal will see the Premier League winners receive a figure close to £100m, while the club who finishes bottom will earn more than United this term.
